1. Amansara
For those looking for an exclusive and luxurious retreat, Amansara is a top choice.
This elegant hotel, once the guesthouse of King Norodom Sihanouk, is an all-inclusive, serene oasis with beautifully designed suites, private pools, and impeccable service.
The property blends minimalist design with a nod to its royal heritage, offering guided tours of Angkor Wat and other temples in private cars. Amansara also has an excellent spa and wellness center for relaxing after a day of temple exploration.
Of course, I had to sample some of the food and drinks, which were suitably delicious:
2. Shinta Mani Angkor – Bensley Collection
Designed by world-renowned architect Bill Bensley, the Shinta Mani Angkor is an artistic masterpiece combining luxury with a boutique atmosphere. I love Bensley’s unique style and it’s hard not to keep taking photographs during a visit!

Dining options include Cambodian-inspired cuisine and Western dishes, with an elegant lounge area perfect for unwinding after a day at the temples.
